Job Overview
Valor Protection Safety Agency is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representativeto drive client acquisition, increase revenue, and expand market presence. This role is pivotal in identifying and closing new business opportunities while working closely with leadership to achieve revenue growth targets. This position plays a key role in shaping the company’s growth and strengthening its market footprint within the security and safety industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Sales Growth:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in targeted industries.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Present and articulate company services and value propositions effectively to potential clients.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of Valor Protection Safety Agency’s services and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and continuously seek ways to expand business relationships.
Revenue Generation & Performance Goals:
- Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets through new client acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to generate revenue and meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Follow a structured sales process to move prospects through different stages of the sales cycle efficiently.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to refine strategies, optimize outreach efforts, and maximize revenue growth.
Relationship Building & Client Engagement:
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients by collaborating with internal teams, including operations and customer support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing service needs.
Market Research & Strategy Execution:
- Research industry trends, competitors, and market demands to tailor sales strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and suggest innovative approaches for business expansion.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, pain points, and opportunities to leadership to help refine service offerings.
- Develop customized proposals, pricing models, and solutions for prospective clients to align with their specific security and safety requirements.
CRM & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract details in the CRM system.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue projections.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and optimize business development strategies.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust outreach efforts based on performance analytics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Required:
- Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, or client acquisition experience.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to identify decision-makers, build relationships, and drive sales independently.
- Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and outbound sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales pitches.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred:
- Experience in the security, safety, or service industry.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, consultative selling, or SaaS sales.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and security service offerings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $49,920 annually ($24/hour)
- Commission Structure
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $75,000 annually.
- Paid Bi-Weekly.
- No benefits at this time.
