About the Role:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Armed Safety Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a private Montessori school serving infant through elementary-aged students. This role is critical in maintaining a calm, protected, and welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a visible and proactive security presence on campus
Monitor school entry/exit points and control access to the facility
Ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors at all times
Respond quickly and effectively to any safety concerns or emergencies
Conduct routine patrols of the campus
Collaborate with school leadership and staff on safety protocols
De-escalate situations professionally and appropriately
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required

Requirements:

Must possess a valid and active Armed Security License (REQUIRED)
Prior experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
Professional appearance and demeanor, especially in a school environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Must pass background check and any required screenings

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a school or child-focused environment
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong conflict resolution skills
