Position Summary
We are seeking a mission-aligned, results-oriented Safety Manager to lead and elevate the agency’s field operations and frontline personnel. The Safety Manager serves as a central figure in ensuring service quality, training excellence, compliance, and operational execution across all active client sites.
This position is ideal for a tactical leader who understands the complexities of field safety work, thrives in high-responsibility environments, and possesses both field intelligence and emotional intelligence.
Core Responsibilities
1. Field Operational Oversight
  • Lead and manage real-time safety operations at client sites across the region.
  • Conduct daily field audits, safety inspections, officer evaluations, and incident reviews.
  • Ensure all post orders, SOPs, and contractual obligations are being met with excellence.
  • Respond to escalations, high-risk incidents, or emergencies with confidence and control.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
2. Officer Performance & Supervisor Management
  • Directly supervise and support all Field Supervisors and Site Supervisors.
  • Implement performance coaching, accountability measures, and professional growth strategies for team members.
  • Conduct regular roll calls, uniform inspections, site briefings, and field huddles.
  • Uphold Valor’s values of integrity, dependability, and leadership in all field personnel.
3. Training, Coaching & Readiness
  • Lead onboarding and post-specific training for all incoming officers.
  • Deliver live scenario-based drills, de-escalation simulations, and response protocols.
  • Manage officer re-certifications, including fitness assessments and professional development tracking.
  • Identify gaps in field knowledge and provide corrective instruction and mentorship.
4. Event Safety & Tactical Coordination
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead all aspects of safety and security operations for public events, private functions, and large-scale activations.
  • Develop pre-event risk assessments, deployment schedules, and post-event debriefings.
  • Act as the Command Post lead during high-attendance events, coordinating team movements and safety zones.
  • Ensure visibility, readiness, and rapid response presence at all event checkpoints.
5. Administrative Compliance & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, officer evaluations, and field compliance records.
  • Generate weekly operations summaries and monthly performance dashboards for leadership review.
  • Ensure all officers are compliant with licensing, certifications, and training documentation.
  • Participate in strategic planning, site start-up execution, and client meetings when required.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership in security field operations, safety oversight, or law enforcement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and coaching teams of 10+ officers or supervisors.
  • Strong command of emergency procedures, post orders, risk mitigation, and incident handling.
  • Valid Security License or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site travel.
Preferred:
  • Prior military, law enforcement, or high-volume event security experience.
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification.
  • Experience in physical training, crisis intervention, or tactical operations.
